Justice Ministry in Sub-Saharan Africa
The team in Gulu, Uganda, has been planting churches in the villages. They are now integrating justice ministry into their church planting work in Northern Uganda and Eastern Congo while serving South Sudanese in a refugee camp.
Denis’s Story
The Lord showed us a need to restore dignity and hope to women's lives in northern Uganda. We started by providing small-scale business start-up capital to single mothers, the majority of whom are victims of Gender Based Violence. This has seen over 40 women benefit from this program.
We have built a home where some women who are victims of violence come for refuge, counseling, and discipleship. Over 27 women have gone through the home and regained hope in their lives.
We are conducting inner-healing trainings in the communities where we have been planting churches. This has opened many communities, bringing even local leaders to participate. The district authorities have started a conversation to help the local government leaders to go through the sessions. The prison doors have recently opened to us to train them in inner healing.
At the refugee camp, we conduct inner healing sessions where about 4 young men who wanted to kill in revenge were able to release and forgive
We fed 40 households in the refugee camp when the region experienced a prolonged drought in July 2026.
